World Science Festival Ipswich with STEM Punks

Over the past few years, I’ve had the pleasure of taking girls to participate in STEM Punks Innovation Sports Competition at The World Science Festival in Ipswich, achieving great success. This year, I had the privilege of running workshops for STEM Punks’ “Trailblazers in Transport.” During these workshops, students explored a variety of future transport options.

Using Design Thinking and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the students engaged in a range of exciting STEM activities. They wrote jingles, discussed and drew concepts for future transport, programmed ProBots and Codey Rocky, and made and flew paper planes with different designs. They also experienced future transport through virtual reality.

The sessions concluded with the students creating their concepts using Lego and Cody Rocky then proudly showcasing their creations and ideas.
