Playing with robotics

light robotOur Code Club has grown into Robotics and Code Club! During the last school holidays I spent two days sorting out all the Mindstorm NXT pieces and dismantling a number of robots…..things are looking good! One of the Yr 9 students comes into the library during lunch time on Thursdays to help us learn how to build and program our robots and its been fun. Last term we managed to program the robot to sense light and change direction. We tried it out in the portable dark room with great effect.

This week we were successful in rolling a ball towards the robot and an arm extended to propel it as it sensed the ball coming.
