Researching ideas

I spent a lot of time reading and searching the types of activities being carried out in school libraries. I saw such value in incorporating the technology that we had available in our library. This is a prezi I put togther some time before to remind our classroom teachers the type of technology the school library was using and had available to use.

As one of the teacher librarians I wanted to be able to use many of the ideas to promote and stimulate reading. So I bought products from UK and USA to assist with creating cards with LED lights. Reading from Katherine Jinks novel ‘A Very Unusual Pursuit’ and discussing many names used for both mythical and ghostly creatures the girls drew some imaginative creatures!
